Custode Umbrae Division provides a flexible, immersive, and community-driven semi-realistic MILSIM environment where members can experience organized tactical gaming across multiple platforms and titles without the burnout, rigidity, or single-game dependency commonly associated with traditional MILSIM organizations.
Division Mandate
Arma 3 is our main stage. We act as an elite response unit tackling dynamic, community-driven campaigns. While we use a structured chain of command and semi-realistic tactics to keep operations organized and immersive, we leave the extreme "yes sir, no sir" military simulator toxicity at the door. It's about teamwork, not ego.
We know playing the exact same game every weekend causes burnout. That's why we regularly deploy into other tactical shooters like Ghost Recon (Wildlands & Breakpoint), Ground Branch, OPERATOR, and Ready or Not. We adapt our playstyle to fit the game, giving you a chance to enjoy different experiences with the same great squad.

Ranks
You level up based on attendance and teamwork. Higher ranks give you priority slotting.
Certification
Want to play specialized classes like Medic, Recon, or Squad Leader? We don't make you sit through boring, mandatory training courses. Instead, it's a practical field test—essentially a "show and tell." Play the role effectively during 3 or 4 operations to prove you know what you're doing. Once you demonstrate you can handle the responsibility, you'll earn your certification to use that class across any of our supported games.
Unified Deployment
Your earned ranks and certifications transfer seamlessly across all operational parameters (games). Our mandate is to provide a single, unified home for all deployments, eliminating the need to juggle memberships in multiple external groups. This consolidated approach keeps our community together, rewards your loyalty, and prevents member burnout.

Required to sign up for your first guest event. -
Game Ownership
You just need Arma 3 and one other supported game from our active list.
Step 1: Get Set Up
Before your first game, you'll need to create a free UmbraNet account and have TeamSpeak 3 installed. This gets you access to our basic schedule and ensures you can communicate with the team during your trial.
Step 2: Play as a Guest (Trial Run)
Not sure if we're the right fit for you yet? Jump into one scheduled operation or training event as a guest to test the waters and meet the community. Note: You can only attend one event as a non-member.
Step 3: Become a USFUGC Member
Had a good time? To attend a second event and keep playing with us, you'll need to submit an official USFUGC membership application through our Portal. Once approved, you're cleared for unlimited game nights!
